Kelly Curtis of Cowpens, SC [29330] is a member of the inaugural class of Limestone College's highly anticipated Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) program. Members of the class began taking their courses on Friday, July 13, 2012. Together, they are the first group, or cohort, that will proceed through their classes together. It is designed to prepare students for management positions in

• Industry

• Nonprofit institutions

Included in that first cohort are professionals from throughout the Southeast and in various industries including criminal justice, human resources, banking, state education, home healthcare, pharmaceutical sales, and two branches of the military (US Army and Marine Corps).

The schedule for Limestone's MBA is designed so that new cohorts will begin the program annually in July, October, and March. Limestone is now accepting applications for the October cohort at www.limestone.edu/mba-program.

Students will expand their skills in planning, staffing, organizing, directing, and controlling business activities. They will also continue the development of their decision-making, leadership, motivation, problem solving, and teamwork skills.
